Visit. Soweto was created in the 1930s when the White government started separating Blacks from Whites. you will also explore the Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial & learn about the apartheid history during the Soweto Uprising in 1976. Processed to Vilakazi Street for its famous restaurants as well as entertainment by the locals, visit the Mandela House where he spent his first few nights after his release from prison.
