    When to Go?

    1. The Garden Route has the mildest climate in South Africa and has the second mildest climate in the world from Hawaii. All year round temperatures rarely fall below 10 degrees with a maximum of 28 degrees from winter to summer respectively. So the best time to visit the Garden Route is all year round due to no limit to outdoor activities. The choice may be though related to, if ever want to visit in busy summer holiday time during high temperature or when schools are in transit from:

      Using Route 62 to Garden Route, from mountain passes through to Cango caves connecting to Cango Ranch for Wildlife and Ostrich Farm passing by the Arid little karoo and Outeniqua pass.

      Oudtshoorn: Known as the home to the Cango Caves, one of the biggest and top attractions in the Garden Route, the towns of Oudtshoorn and De Rust are in the Klein Karoo between the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains. Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world. Plettenburg Bay: Famous for its beautiful Mediterranean climate and South African holiday paradise destination. Knysna: Knysna is known is the jewel of the Garden Route.
