Visit this family run business and get up close to more than 40 ostriches at this breeding farm which is on the foot of the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Enjoy a short guided private tour by an Ostrich specialist and get an opportunity to feed them. The farm has land coverage of approximately 65 hectares and was opened in 1996 on the site of the 19th century Cape Dutch Ruin.
The visit to the Ostrich farm is very educational to both couples, parents and families travelling with the children. The farm is open every day between 08H00 and 16H00.
The farm operates every day and entrance is free. If the gate is open, you can just drive in and park the vehicle at the demarcated parking space.
There is Avery nice restaurant on the farm specialising in Ostrich meat and a souvenir shop where all Ostrich leather related products can be purchased.
